The College Administration is pleased to announce the issuance of the first BCL monthly Newsletter as a forum for information, announcements, student discussions and so on.

Dear students,

we have introduced  the ‘Student Board’ to include experiences, articles and comments that you would like to share or raise awareness about. 

The Student Board will only be composed of articles from the students, hence the name Student Board. We would like to encourage and welcome participation from all of you. 

We will accept articles until the third week of every month to publish them on upcoming issue.

Strict new Home Office rules for student visas  will be implemented as of the beginning of 2009. Student visas will fall under Tier 4 of a new  points-based system. For more details click here.

Academic Changes/Appointments 

Mr E Ndalama, our ACCA Lecturer is leaving  us effecting end of September 2008 for a full time lectureship appointment at a UK university.  We wish him all the best in his future career prospects.

Mr. Anthony Rockson, Mr. Emmanuel Allotey and Mr. James Nyaho will be joining our academic staff to teach ACCA and ABE  accounting modules .

MBAFCM— Dissertation

According to the guidelines of CIM (Cyprus Institute of Marketing) the dissertation must be around 10000—15000 words and the title of the project must be approved by CIM. Students are required to submit a dissertation proposal before the project can be undertaken. The proposal is a statement of the focus of the research of the main questions to be investigated. 
		
How to Identify a good research question for your dissertation?

1)Research Area - This is the outcome of your interest, past experience, future career plan and the availability of the research domain. Possible sources are newspapers, academic literatures and module materials.

2)Research Problem - Investigate what has been done in this research area. Do searches on online archives using keywords related to your interests. 

3)Identifying a problem or gap that you may be able to contribute to for instance a particular industrial problem / opportunity that requires a further investigation.
